FAQs
Why bush camping?
People visit Tasmania to enjoy its untouched beauty. Camping lets you experience the things you would miss out on by staying in hotels or hostels.
It's about sleeping under the stars and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Everything about bush camping, from playing the didgeridoo around the campfire to going for a night walk in search of nocturnal wildlife...it's all part of the experience. Our guides have had this privilege for many years and enjoy sharing their knowledge. In the evening, the campfire is the perfect place to socialise with your group or talk to your guide and find out any further information you are interested in.
If you are the adventurous type and are looking for something different to the usual bus tours then come with us through rougher terrain into some of the less accessible areas. We aim to camp away from the crowds. Our tour groups are genuinely small, with a maximum of 9 people. Small enough to feel a sense of seclusion but big enough to socialise as a group.
